El Valle isn't reachable by road. You come by plane from Medellín, Cali or Bogotá to Bahía Solano, or by boat from Buenaventura or Nuquí.

From Medellín
Direct flight from Olaya Herrera airport to Bahía Solano. About one hour in the air. Book as far ahead as possible.
From Bogotá
Connection via Medellín.
From Buenaventura
Cargo boat (about 24 h) or fast lancha (about 9 h). Rotations depend on the season and the sea.
From Nuquí
Public lancha runs 2 to 3 times a week. About 1h30 across the bay.
