How to get to El Valle
El Valle isn't reachable by road. You come by plane from Medellín, or by boat from Buenaventura or Nuquí. We can organise the whole arrival.

Where you're coming from
From Medellín
Direct flight from Olaya Herrera airport to Bahía Solano. About one hour in the air. Book as far ahead as possible.
From Bogotá
Connection via Medellín. Allow a full day of travel with an airport change.
From Buenaventura
Cargo boat (about 24 h) or fast lancha (about 9 h). Rotations depend on the season and the sea.
From Nuquí
Public lancha, about 1h30 across the bay.
The last leg to El Valle
Bahía Solano → El Valle
After arriving in Bahía Solano, allow about an hour to reach El Valle. Two options are available: private tuk-tuk, ideal if you're travelling with luggage; shared van, more economical and used by locals. If we organise your stay, we also coordinate this transfer with our local partners.

Flight and boat times shift with the weather and the season. Give yourself a buffer on arrival and departure, especially if you're connecting to an international flight from Medellín or Bogotá.
